I job shadowed multiple different careers which included: general, orthopedics, and pediatric surgeons; a nurse practitioner, K-3 teachers, and a funeral home director and embalmer. By doing all the shadowing I was able to figure out what I liked and what I didn’t like so much, and that led me to choosing mortuary sciences.

Shadowing Reflection Observing a student’s day was a great experience. It enabled me to step outside of what I have been preparing for and into the life of this student.
