The 20s were a inspirational time period within the lives of many women the developed a sense a freedom after the Great War and there way of expressing that through their unique and glamour’s fashion sense starting with the flapper. The flapper “she was the new women of the decade”.

The 1920’s are often referred to as the “roaring twenties,” but many histories purpose that this is not a correct interpretation of this time period. America may have not been good for the some of the lower class in this time period, but the 1920’s were fantastic for most of the middle and upper class living in urban cities.

The 1920's are commonly referred to as the 'Roaring Twenties', an appropriate title for a decade that did indeed roar out of the Victorian Era. Gone were the corsets and up went the skirt hems as flapper girls bared their legs and speakeasies with bathtub gin dominated the nightlife.
